Frequently Asked Questions
We know parents often have lots of questions about teething, safety, sizing and choosing the right Gummee product, so we’ve answered some of the most common ones below 🧡
Teething Questions
When can babies start teething?
On Average teething can begin from around 3 months old. Some babies are born with teeth and some don't show signs of teething until they are 2 years old. Every baby is different.
Which Gummee product is best for younger babies?
The original Gummee Glove was specially designed for babies who are too young to hold traditional teethers. We recommend this for 3-6 months
Can Gummee teethers go in the fridge?
Yes! Many parents like to cool Gummee teethers in the fridge for extra soothing relief. BUT DO NOT PUT ANY TEETHER IN THE FREEZER. This can cause a freeze burn on little ones gums.
Safety & Cleaning
Are Gummee products safety tested?
Yes. Gummee products are tested to UK, EU, USA, Canada, ETC. and international toy safety standards and are made from premium baby-safe materials.
How do I clean my Gummee products?
Most silicone teethers can be washed in warm soapy water. Please always follow the individual care instructions supplied with your product.
All gloves can be put in the washing machine and washed at 30 degrees, they can also be machine dried but we do recommend wiping the silicone parts after due to lint build up.
