Does teething cause a fever?
Teething may cause a slight rise in your baby's temperature, but it does not usually cause a true fever. If your baby's temperature reaches 38°C (100.4°F) or higher, it's important to consider other possible causes, such as an illness or infection, and seek medical advice if you're concerned. Common signs of teething include sore or swollen gums, increased dribbling, chewing on objects, flushed cheeks and irritability.
Which Gummee product is best for younger babies?
The original Gummee Glove was specially designed for babies who are too young to hold traditional teethers. We recommend this for 3-6 months
Can Gummee teethers go in the fridge?
Yes! Many parents like to cool Gummee teethers in the fridge for extra soothing relief. BUT DO NOT PUT ANY TEETHER IN THE FREEZER. This can cause a freeze burn on little ones gums.

Are Gummee products safety tested?
Yes. Gummee products are tested to UK, EU, USA, Canada, ETC. and international toy safety standards and are made from premium baby-safe materials.
How do I clean my Gummee products?
The Gummee Glove is easy to keep clean. Remove the detachable heart teether and wipe it clean with warm, soapy water or sterilise it following the product instructions. Place the fabric glove inside the supplied laundry bag and machine wash it at 30°C. Allow the glove to dry completely before using it again, and always inspect it for signs of wear before each use.
Can the Gummee Glove go in the washing machine?
Yes! The fabric part of the Gummee Glove is machine washable at 30°C. We recommend placing it inside the supplied laundry bag before washing to help protect the fabric and fastening. The glove can also be tumble dried on a low heat if required. The detachable silicone heart teether should be removed before washing and cleaned separately.
How long should a baby use a teether?
Babies can use a teether whenever they need soothing relief from sore gums during teething. Most babies begin teething from around 3 to 6 months of age, although every child develops differently. Continue using a teether while it provides comfort, making sure it is suitable for your baby's age and developmental stage. Always supervise your baby while they are using a teething product and regularly check it for signs of damage or wear.
